Council approves work

The Russellville City Council approved four road projects to begin this summer.
Improvements are needed before paving projects through ATRIP can begin, according to officials.
Roadwork is to be done on sections of Lawrence St., Waterloo Rd., Jackson Ave., and College Ave.
The Assistant City Clerk was approved as the Absentee Election Manger for the upcoming vote on the Ad Valorem Tax.
The Council also approved purchase of two new fountains for City Lake Park.
