The experienced West Point Warriors were just too much for the Russellville Golden Tigers, who fell 77-62 in front of a big home crowd Friday night.

Russellville had a balanced attack getting points from eight different players in the game.  Tyler Willis and Austin Stidham scored in double figures for the Golden Tigers.

West Point led at the end of the first quarter, 21-12 before Russellville trimmed the lead to only six at the half.  The Warriors took a 60-49 lead into the final period and held on for the 15-point area victory.

Russellville’s Tyler Willis had four three-pointers in the game and led the team with 19 points.  The Golden Tigers also got points from Austin Stidham (14), Colby Tompkins (8), Joshua Seal (8), Taylor Vincent (5), Adonis Bailey (4), Cedric Freeman (2) and Christian Foster (2).
