Tropical storm Isidore has washed away the city's soccer schedule for Wednesday and Thursday.
Friday night prep football, for the most part, remains on schedule.
Lamar School Athletic Director Doc Stephens said the school has canceled Thursday's girls soccer game against Presbyterian Christian and the Raiders' junior high football game.
Friday night's home game with Parklane Academy is still on schedule.
Meridian High Athletic Director Vince McLemore said the Wildcats' game with No. 1 ranked Wayne County is on schedule.
Meridian Community College did call off its Wednesday soccer match with East Central. The match has been rescheduled for Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. in Meridian.
The only confirmed football change was at Wayne Academy. The school was set to have its homecoming on Friday against Winston Academy in Waynesboro.
The game and the festivities have been moved to Saturday. The homecoming ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Other games in the area are also still on as scheduled. They include: Enterprise at Newton, West Lauderdale at Newton County, Northeast Lauderdale at West Jones, Carthage at Philadelphia, Southeast Lauderdale at Heidelberg and Kemper Academy at Heidelberg Academy.
Tonight's junior college football game between East Central and Gulf Coast in Decatur has been moved to Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at ECCC.
