Coolidge B. Hatton

Coolidge B. Hatton

October 22, 2014

Coolidge B. Hatton, age 89, Russellville, passed away peacefully from this world Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014.

Visitation was Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with services immediately following. Brother Stanley Hargett officiated and burial was in FranklinMemoryGardens. Family and friends served as pallbearers.

After his retirement from Reynolds, Coolidge pursued his passions of hunting and farming. As an avid hunter, he looked forward to each new season and the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors with his sons. At age 89, he enjoyed a final successful turkey season and the bragging rights that came along with his achievements. The only thing Coolidge loved more than hunting and farming was spending time with family. Each year, he eagerly anticipated the annual Hatton family reunion and the opportunity to connect with his many nieces, nephews and relatives. He enjoyed Sunday dinners with his immediate family and could be found sitting at the head of the table with a content smile, wise word and hilarious story.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Hatton; his parents Byron and Minnie Hatton; and siblings Luther, Ludi, Ada, Virgle, Woodrow, Virmon, Leslie, Curtis and Levert.

He is survived by his sisters, Claudie Speck and Frances Flippo; sons, Kenneth Hatton and wife, Deborah, and Dwain Hatton; grandchildren, Devin Hatton and wife, Erin, Alana Parker and husband, Chris, Lauren Hatton and Ashley Hatton; and great-grandchildren, Cade and Mackie Drew Parker.
