Gary Dale “Hollywood” Johnson, 58, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014 in Vina. He was born in FranklinCounty, and was a logger.
Graveside services were Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, at Spruce Pine Cemetery, Spruce Pine, with Preacher Pearl Shelton officiating.
Survivors are one sister, Carolyn Johnson Lindley, Hamilton; one brother, J.C. Sonny “Bo” Johnson, Russellville; nieces and nephews, Danny Joe Hacker and wife, Gina, Virginia Hacker, V.J. Hacker Jr., Mary Ann Jackson, Daniel Lindley, Chad Lindley, Nicole Lindley and Kasey Utley; grandson, Danny J. Hacker and other numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Johnson; his parents, J.C. Johnson and Ruby Hargett Johnson; one brother, William Daniel Johnson; and one sister, Jennifer Hacker.
