Curves hosting open house

Curves International, Inc., the largest chain of fitness centers for women in the world, will be hosting an Open House next week, September 15-19, and new members can receive 30 days free, in addition to a free workout.

The Open House week provides women with the opportunity to check out their local “all-new” Curves and take some important “me time” for themselves.

At the local Curves, located at 13760 U.S. 43, Suite 5, behind Guthrie’s in Russellville, there will be special activities planned throughout the week including mini-massages, free protein shake and meal bar samples, free health assessments, giveaways and much more.

During the Open House week, non-members will have the opportunity to work out for free on the Curves circuit, including experiencing Curves Workouts with Jillian Michaels, which are full body workouts that change each month. Those who join that same day will receive 30 days free on their membership.

“As women look for efficiencies amidst busy fall schedules and aim to maximize their ‘me time,’ a 30 minute Curves workout is the perfect option,” said Mike Raymond, chief marketing officer at Curves International, Inc.

“The circuit affords women a great full-body workout while still leaving time for other personal interests. We encourage prospective members to come and check us out this month, to see what’s new and different at Curves.”

Fitness and wellness activities such as going to the gym or exercising rank among the top four ways to spend “me time,” but according to a Harris Poll conducted online on behalf of Curves, six in ten women feel that typical gym workouts are too time-consuming. Fortunately, Curves offers an efficient, effective 30-minute option that allows women to work out – with friends – and still have extra “me time” for other hobbies and interests.

Curves is “all new” with many new offerings including the addition of Curves Workouts with Jillian Michaels, new lifestyle apparel, protein bars and dessert bars as well as new state-of-the-art circuit equipment.
