The Russellville Golden Tiger baseball program will be conducting youth baseball camps in the month of June.

The camps will focus on the fundamentals of baseball including pitching, hitting, fielding and base running.

“Baseball is about fundamentals,” said Golden Tiger baseball coach Chris Heaps.

“Building a solid baseball program is about getting young players involved in our program at an early age.”

The camp for ages 5 to 9 will be June 9-10. The camp for ages 10 to 14 will be on June 11-12. Both camps will be held at the Russellville baseball stadium and will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Pre-registration will be on Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. or on Sunday, June 8, from 2-4 p.m. inside the Russellville baseball stadium.

Parents can also register their child on the morning of the camp from 8-8:30 a.m.

The camp cost is $85 and there is a $10 discount per child for siblings.
