Effie Geniva Saint, 91, of Russellville, passed away Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at her home in Tharptown.

Mrs. Saint lived all of her life in Lawrence and Franklin counties and was a member of the Sanderson Chapel Methodist Church in Hatton. She was a wife and loving mother and grandmother.

The funeral service was Sunday, Mar. 2, 2014, at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Tharptown Cemetery. Officiating was Brandon Kerby, Sandy Walker and Eb Neeley. The family received friends at the funeral home on Sunday.

Survivors include children, Joy Neeley, Patricia Posey and husband, Johnny, William D. Saint and wife, Annette, Dennis Ray Saint and wife, Shelby, Jerry E. Saint and wife, Paula, and Billy Wayne Saint; brother, Raymond Kerby; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were grandsons.

Honorary bearers were Shea Saint and Kenneth Smallwood.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Saint; parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kerby; sisters, Flora Flannagan and Irene Smith; brothers, Howard, Travis, Hollis, Ralph and Arlander Kerby, all of Lawrence County; and a precious great-grandchild, Nathaniel Neeley.
