‘Evening at the Roxy’ features Great Pretenders
The Franklin County Arts Council staged the 17th annual “Evening at the Roxy” during the week of the W. C. Handy Music Festival, featuring “The Great Pretenders” July 27. Community members turned out to see their family, friends and neighbors emulate the likes of Dolly Parton, Joe Diffie, the Dixie Chicks, Adele and more.

Gary Cummings sings “He Touched Me” as performed by the Gaither Vocal Band.
Hailey Peters sings “Holy Spirit.”
Jacob Green performs “It’s Always Something.”
Jayne Wells sings “Right or Wrong.”
Leah Nix sings Dolly Parton’s hit, “Jolene.”
Sydney Medley performs “A Broken Wing,” Martina McBride.
