Maxine Kirkpatrick Scott, 92,  of Hodges, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at Marion Regional Nursing Home, Hamilton, Ala. She was born in Ripley, Tenn. and was a homemaker. She attended Hodges Convention Baptist Church.

Services will be Monday, April 6, at 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay,

Ala. with Bro. Lloyd Ray Griffus officiating. Burial will be in Holly Springs Cemetery,

Hodges, Ala.

Survivors are one son, Doyle Scott and wife, Kay of Double Springs, Al.; three grandchildren, Tammy Holland and husband, Shannon of Hackleburg, Ala. and Shane Scott and B.J. Scott, both of Hodges, Al.; four great-grandchildren, Briley Holland, Cody Holland, Amber Scott Sigafuss and Hayden Scott and one great-great-grandchild, Marley Sigafuss.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Blaine Scott, a son, Donald Scott, a daughter, Judy Ann Scott, three sisters, Louise Nolen, Thelma Elizabeth Olsteen and Ruth Virginia Griggs and two brothers, Lewis Harold and Charles William Kirkpatrick.

Pallbearers will be Will Sigafuss, Shane Scott, B.J. Scott, Cody Holland, Briley Holland

and Shannon Holland.

Visitation will be Monday, April 6, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Ala.
