Howard Delmas Gordon, Jr., age 82, Phil Campbell, passed away Sunday Nov. 23, 2014. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict, member of the American Legion, was a retired Electrician with the Dept. of Defense and a member of Bear Creek First Baptist Church.
His visitation will be on Tuesday November 25, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, with his funeral on Wednesday Nov. 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Bear Creek First Baptist Church, with Richard Crumpton and Kirk Cagle officiating, burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa Leola Jones Gordon; children, Sheila Gordon Gilliland, her husband Stanley and Linda Gordon Sisk, her husband Freddy; sisters and brother, Johnnie Gordon Jones, her husband Walker, Muriel Gordon Blakemore, Talton Barnett Gordon, Rebecca Gordon Oakes, her husband Edward, Rita Gordon Wortham and Diane Gordon Lanham, her husband Melvin; grandchildren, Miranda Sisk, Tara Sisk Trull, her husband Aaron and Fred Sisk, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Delmas Gordon, Sr., and Arie Barnett Gordon.
