Grinell Farley Vaughn, 76, of Harvest, passed away Monday, Dec. 2, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Vaughn was preceded in death by his parents Grinell Vaughn and Elizabeth Trottman Vaughn.

He is survived by his wife, Tommie Lou Sumerel Vaughn; daughters, Sonja Suzanne Suddreth, Michael Green and Michelle Elizabeth Crowson and husband, Greg; sister, Marylee Vaughn Smith and husband, Everett; four grandchildren, Rachel Elizabeth Widener, Rebecca Ruth Calloway and husband, Curt, Nicholas Ryan Garner, and Dr. Nicole Marie Garner; four great grandchildren, Christian Henderson Calloway, Pyper Alaynah Calloway, Kolby James Calloway, and Gyles Mason Gryder; nephews, Vaughn Everett Smith, Alan Farley Smith, Dr. William Grinell Smith; niece Ann Elizabeth Smith Griffin and husband, Wayne.

The family had a private service at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Nichols Ryan Garner and Derrick Sumerel conducted the service.
