The Russellville Police Department arrested two teenagers in connection with a car burglary at Wal-Mart in September.
Russellville Police Chief Chris Hargett said that Joshua Matthew McCullough, 18, of 323 McCullough Road in Russellville, was taken into custody Monday and charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle. McCullough was transferred to Franklin County Jail yesterday morning.
Hargett said that another arrest was made in the case yesterday morning.
Ruben O'Neal Hubbard, 19, of County Highway 456 in Hamilton, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle and first-degree criminal mischief. Hubbard remains in the Russellville City Jail awaiting a bond hearing.
Hargett said the vehicle's owner reported money taken from the vehicle during the burglary, however, the suspects in the case admitted to causing damage to the vehicle but denied taking any money. Breaking and entering a motor vehicle and first-degree criminal mischief are punishable by one year and one day to 10 years in prison upon conviction.
