The Meridian Star Sports department is requesting area readers to submit articles for the upcoming 2003 Profile Section: A Sense of Place.
Readers are asked to submit stories on a particular athletic achievement, an outdoor activity, or if they participate in sports like running, swimming, golf, or the like to write about.
There will also be stories on "Best Brags".
The deadline for the Sports and Recreation section will be Jan. 9. The section will publish on 27.
Send your submission to: The Meridian Star/Profile 2003; P.O. Box 1591; Meridian, Miss., 39302. Be sure to include biographical information about yourself. Photos with stories submitted may be picked up in March.
