SEBASTOPOL Services for Huster Gilmore will be held today at 11 a.m. at High Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Hugh Martin and Ray Files officiating. Burial will in the church cemetery. Milling Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Gilmore, 91, of Union, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, at Madden Memories.
Survivors include her husband, J.W. Gilmore of Union; brothers, Dewayne Brewer of Jackson and Dink Brewer of Philadelphia; sisters, Charlene Wilson of Washington and Henry Jo Woods of New Jersey; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Bennie Brewer, Billy Paul Davidson, Bert Gilmore, Carl Wayne Gilmore, George Gilmore and Richard Graham.
FLOYD DAVIS WADE SR.
NEWTON Graveside services for Floyd Davis Wade Sr. will be held today at 11 a.m. at Union Cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wade, 85, of Newton, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, in Meridian. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Wade and was raised in Newton County and knew Mississippi well as a timber man.
He spent a large part of his adult life in Georgia, where he was co-founder and director for AFLAC. He contributed to many community efforts by funding parks and baseball fields in Douglas, Ga., as well as the City Park in Newton. He was also honored to be part of the Mississippi State University football stadium expansion.
Survivors include his four children, John E. Wade II of New Orleans, Floyd D. Wade Jr. and his wife, Christine, of Newton, Paul D. Wade of Meridian and Nell B. Wade of Jackson; grandchildren, Miriam W. Wade of Alpharetta, Ga., F.D. "Buck" Wade III and his wife, Kelly, of Anniston, Ala., Rebecca Wade Banzhaf and her husband, George, of Starkville; and a great-grandchild, Simon Banzhaf of Starkville.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Minter E. Wade.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Wade, John Boulware, Wilmer Whittle, Richard Thoms, George M. Banzhaf and F.D. "Buck" Wade III.
Honorary pallbearers will be Judge Lester Williamson and Cullis Wade.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Truman Junior Townsend will be held today at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Pool officiating. Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery in Neshoba County.
Mr. Townsend, 68, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Dorthy Townsend of Philadelphia; a daughter, Vickey Smith of Philadelphia; sons, Mickey Townsend, Nickey Townsend and Dickey Townsend, all of Philadelphia; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Duckworth of Pearl, Bobbie Jacobson, Frances Stuber and Mildred Powers, all of Carthage; brothers, Jerry Townsend of McCool and Billy Townsend of Philadelphia.
He was preceded in death by a son, Rickey Townsend.

Mr. Rushing, 50, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 2002, in Kemper County.
