Jennifer Lynn McCary of Collinsville and Christopher Brian Davis of Meridian were married Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, at Central United Methodist Church with the Rev. J.J. Jacob officiating.
Parents of the couple are Ricky and Teresa McCary of Collinsville; Van and Melanie Davis and Bobby and Carmen Renfrow, all of Meridian.
Grandparents of the bride are Rose Hale and the late Edward T. Moseley; James R. McCary and the late Mabel McCary.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Bernice and Gerry Davis; Bruce Womack and the late Allene Womack.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Joyce Tillery, organist; Dalette Newell and Kevin Harrison, soloists.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a sleeveless diamond white satin gown covered with an illusion overlay, accented with embroidery and pearls. She wore a strand of pearls given to her by the bridegroom's grandmother.
Maid of honor was Amber Thompson of Starkville. Other attendants were Charlotte Davis, sister of the bridegroom, April McCary of Meridian, sister-in-law of the bride, Summer Williams and Mackenzie Ortlepp, both of Collinsville. Morgan Wall of Knoxville, Tenn., was flower girl.
Van Davis of Meridian served as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Brian McCary, Brad Williams, Bo Davis and Randy Lee Diveley, cousins of the bridegroom, and Sean Patrick McCullouch, brother of the bridegroom, all of Meridian, and Jason Smith of Coatopa, Ala.
Kellen McCullouch of Meridian, brother of the bridegroom, was ring bearer.
Rose petals were thrown by Tanner Goldman and John Thomas Goldman. Program attendant was Hannah Davis.
The couple was taken by horse drawn carriage to the reception at Union Station. It was driven by the bridegroom's grandfather, Bernice Davis.
Assisting at the reception were Heather Goldman, Dalette Newell, Danielle Rigdon and Emily Womack.
After a honeymoon in Asheville, N.C., the couple resides in Long Beach.
