PAULYNE M. CURRY
Graveside services for Paulyne M. Curry will be held today at noon at Magnolia Cemetery with her nephew, the Rev. H. Stanley Mullins officiating. Brooks-Cargile Funeral Home of Montgomery, Ala., is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Curry, 90, a resident of Montgomery and formerly of Meridian, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002, in her home. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Curry was preceded in death by her husband, George Emmett Curry, a businessman in Meridian for many years.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Wesley House or Central United Methodist Church.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Annie Laura Molpus will be held today at 1 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Revs. David Keller and Steve Lampkin officiating. Burial will be in Clarks Chapel Cemetery in DeKalb.
Mrs. Molpus, 81, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, in her sister's home in Preston.
Survivors include two sisters, Veda Creekmore of Mobile, Ala., and Doris Creekmore of Preston; brothers, James Clark of Preston, Oliver Clark and Malcolm Clark of Mobile.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Molpus.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Johnnie Mae Wilson Winstead will be held today at 2 p.m. at John E. Stephens Chapel with the Rev. Gene Higginbotham officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in House.
Mrs. Winstead, 100, of Philadelphia, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at Laird Hospital.
Survivors include her daughter, Mildred Johnson of Union; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be today beginning at noon at the funeral home.

Memorial services for Mary Elizabeth Brown will be held today at 3 p.m. at James F. Webb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hugh Poole officiating.
Mrs. Brown, 78, of Meridian, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at The Speciality Hospital of Meridian.
Survivors include two sons, Wallace Ford of Meridian and Thomas E. Ford of Shreveport, La.; daughters, Sandra Netherland of Shreveport, Jill Watts and her husband, Mike, of Washington State; a sister, Katherine Brown of Ocean Springs; a brother, Ronald Farris of Jackson; and several grandchildren.
Visitation will be today 30 minutes prior to the service.

Services for James Leon White will be held today at 11:30 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Followell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mr. White, 87, of Meridian, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2002, at Riley Hospital. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Tucker White of Meridian; children, Jimmy White and his wife, Patricia, of Kemper County and Joe White and his wife, Barbara, of Meridian; a sister, Donie Wedgeworth and her husband, Ray, of the Ponta Hill Community; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Willis, 46, of Carthage, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2002.
Survivors include her husband, Robin Lane Willis Sr. and her father, Lee Willie Wilson, both of Carthage; her mother, Mable Wilson of Philadelphia; daughters, Denelle Willis of Philadelphia and Shannon Willis of Carthage; sons, Robin Willis Jr. and Elliot Willis of Carthage; brothers, Nelson Wilson, Tony Wilson, Charles Wilson and Derrick Wilson, all of Philadelphia, and Randolph John of Tampa, Fla.; sisters, Gloria Wilson, Sandra Wesley, Maria Wilson and Rebecca Wilson, all of Philadelphia; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shawnna Louise Willis; and a brother, Raymond Wilson Sr.

BUTLER, Ala. Services for Joseph Patrick Smith will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church with the Revs. Austin Conry and John Aherne officiating. Burial will be in Butler Cemetery with Bumpers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Smith, 80, of Butler, died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, at Willow Trace Nursing Center. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Eugenie D. Smith of Butler; sons, Francis Joseph Smith of Huntsville and Joseph Duffy Smith of Butler; daughters, Marianne Smith of Opelika, Margie Smith Hutcheson of Emelle, Patricia Smith Rocks of Alpharetta, Ga., Elizabeth Redding of Sumter, S.C., and Catherine Smith Gent of Starkville; sisters, Catherine Smith and Susan Smith, both of Port Washington, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to St. John's Catholic Church in Butler.
Visitation will be today 7 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home, with Rosary at 6 p.m.
