The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department is investigating an apparent armed robbery Saturday morning at Fuel Mart 631 in Toomsuba.
The store is located on the south side of Interstate 20/59 on Will Garrett Road.
Ward Calhoun, LCSD spokesman, said officers received a call at 3:55 a.m. Saturday from the store's clerk.
Calhoun said the clerk described the robber as a black man, about 6 feet 1 inch tall and wearing a gray sweater. The suspect was described as wearing a black bandanna around his head and a camouflage mask over his face.
