Memorial services for Katherine Juanita Dean Zingelmann were held Tuesday at Northcrest Baptist Church with the Revs. Malcolm Lewis and Weston J. Burnside Jr. officiating. Stephens Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Zingelmann, 70, of Butler, Ala., died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, in Butler.
Survivors include two daughters, Bobbie Jean Turner of Gilbertown and Nancy Meadows of Butler; three sisters, Lillie Mae Wright of Toomsuba, Mary Rosalie Jones of Collinsville and Betty Lou Burnside of Meridian; a brother, Charles B. Dean Sr. and three half sisters, Pat Gray, Marilyn Simcox and Sarah Hill, all of Meridian; two half-brothers, George W. Dean and Clayton B. Dean of Atlanta; grandchildren, R.K. Lane, Kristin Meadows, Robert L. Leger Jr., Alicia Leger and Blake Turner; and one great-grandson, Robert Louis Leger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Zingelmann; two brothers, Albert John Dean and William Clayton Dean.

Graveside services for Mary Helen Dean will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Hopewell Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Russell officiating. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Dean, 82, of Meridian, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Survivors include two sisters, Claudine Smith and Bessie Douglas; and three nephews, Larry, Jerry and Glenn Smith.

PHILADELPHIA Services for James A. Tucker will be held today at 2 p.m. at White Oak Baptist Church with the Revs. David Hardy and Alan Dees officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tucker, 71, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001, at the University Medical Center in Jackson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Billie McMurry Tucker of Philadelphia; a daughter, Cathy McGee of Brandon; two sons, Allen Tucker of Philadelphia and Bryant Tucker of Carthage; two brothers, Gene Tucker of Brandon and Jerry Tucker of Carthage; and six grandchildren.

QUITMAN Services for Edgar Bryan Covington will be held today at 2 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Norman Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mr. Covington, 76, of Shubuta, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a building contractor in Houston, Texas, before moving to his family farm in Clarke County.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Covington; five brothers, James Roland Covington, W.R. Covington, John W. Covington, Horace G. Covington and George E. Covington; two sisters, Irene Russel and Dorothy Coulter; and several nieces and nephews.

COLUMBUS Services for Darrin Scott Pool will be held today at 3 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Derrick Youngblood officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Mr. Pool, 31, of Columbus, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran of Desert Shield/Desert Storm serving in the U.S. Marines.
Survivors include his parents, the Rev. Lawrence Ralph and Shirley B. Pool of Preston; a brother, Christopher D. Pool and his wife, Lorrie, of San Diego; paternal grandmother, Irene W. Pool of Columbus; maternal grandparents, J.M. and Arlele Blevins of Kaufman, Texas; and several aunts, uncles and nephews.

Mr. Burton, 64, of Philadelphia, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, in Livingston, Ala. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Burton, his mother, Myrtle Burton and a brother, Joe Wayne Burton, all of Philadelphia; a daughter, Susan Clark and her husband, Dudley, of Starkville; two sons, David Burton of Philadelphia and Kenny Burton of West Point; a sister, Dorothy Sue Spears of Orange Beach, Ala.; and two grandchildren.

MACON Services for Juliette "Judy" Jackson Wilson will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Cockrell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Dennis Johnsey officiating. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilson, 79, of Macon, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, at Highland Home in Ridgeland.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandi Nash and her husband, Dallas Nash II, of Ridgeland; a son, Lyle J. Wilson III and his wife, Linda, of Davis, Okla.; a brother, Otey Jackson Jr. of Macon; a sister, Kathleen Bateman of Leeds, Ala.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle J. Wilson; a sister and a brother.
The family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Lanier, 81, of Meridian, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Lanier of Meridian; two daughters, Betty Montez of Eustis, Fla., and Mable Lean Lanier of Leesburg, Fla.; five sons, Kenneth Lanier and Dennis Lanier of Eustis, Robert Lanier and James Lanier of Washington D.C., and George R. Lanier Jr. of Meridian.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Harris, 63, of Coatopa, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001, in his home.
Survivors include his wife, Mary G. Harris of Coatopa; a daughter, Debra Ann Harris of Mobile; a son, Michael James Harris; a brother, Harry Harris of Sarasota, Fla.; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son, James Howard Harris and a brother, Lauren Harris.
