Lady Cats host annual invitational

The schedule has been announced for the Meridian Invitational softball tournament which will be held Saturday at the Sammy Davidson Complex.
Group I consists of Meridian, Choctaw Central, Neshoba Central and Seminary. Group II is SE Lauderdale, Louisville and East Central. Group III includes NE Lauderdale, Starkville and Lawrence County. Group IV is West Lauderdale, Petal, and Poplarville.
The Red field schedule is as follows: 9 a.m. Meridian v. Starkville; 10:30 Meridian v. Neshoba Central; 11:45 Seminary v. Choctaw Central; 1 p.m. Meridian v. Seminary; 2:15 Choctaw Central v. Neshoba Central; and 3:30 Meridian v. Choctaw Central
The Blue field schedule is as follows: 9 a.m. Neshoba Central v. Seminary; 10:30 SE Lauderdale v. Lawrence County; 11:45 SE Lauderdale v. Louisville; 1 p.m. Louisville v. East Central; and 2:15 SE Lauderdale v. East Central.
The Yellow field schedule is as follows: 10:30 a.m. NE Lauderdale v. Poplarville; 11:45 NE Lauderdale v. Starkville; 1 p.m. Starkville v. Lawrence County; and 2:15 NE Lauderdale v. Lawrence.
The green field schedule is as follows: 9 a.m. Petal v. Louisville; 10:30 W. Lauderdale v. East Central; 11:45 West Lauderdale v. Petal; 1 p.m. Petal v. Poplarville; and 2:15 W. Lauderdale v. Poplarville.
The championship schedule is as follows: Red field 5 p.m. Group I Winner v. Group II Winner; and blue field 5 p.m. Group III Winner v. Group IV Winner.
The overall championship game will be at 6:45 p.m.
