Services for Helen Elizabeth Myers will be held today at 3 p.m. at Center Hill United Pentecostal Church, with the Rev. Wallace Lucky officiating. Burial will be in Center Hill United Pentecostal Church Cemetery, with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Myers, 66, of Dekalb, died Monday, August 6, 2001, in her home. She was a member of Center Hill United Pentecostal Church and was a member of DAV.
Survivors include three daughters, Diana Star Weathers, and her husband, James, of Dekalb, Mary Shimono of Compton, Calif., and Yuke Nichols, of Torrence, Calif.; a brother, Robert Frank Hurst of Columbia, Ohio; a sister, Joanne Martin of Glouest, Ohio; Nancy Lee Myers of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Frank Hurst and Mary Elisabeth Hill Hurst.
Pallbearers will be Jim Weathers, Jimmy Weathers, Calvin Cameron, Jon David Lucky, Stanley Lucky and Michael Lucky.
Visitation will be today at 2:30 p.m. at Center Hill United Pentecostal Church.

DEKALB Services for Wallace R. O'Field Sr. will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Green Hill Baptist Church in Toomsuba with the Rev. E.E. McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery with E.E. McDonald Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. O'Field, 59, of Toomsuba, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital. He was a janitor.
Survivors include his wife, Annie O'Field of Toomsuba; two daughters, Wenda Campbell of Cuba, Ala. and Sylvia D. O'Field of Toomsuba; a son, Wallace R. O'Field Jr. of Leakville; five grandchildren; five sisters, Ceola Portis of Cuba, Lacie Brown of Milwaukee, Pearlie Anderson of Lisman, Ala., Eddie Lee Brown and her husband, Johnny, of Cincinnati, Ida Townsend and her husband, Lonnie, of New Orleans and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter and three siblings.
Visitation will be Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church.

YORK, Ala. Services for Lucile Culpepper Sumerlin will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Craddock officiating. Burial will be in York Cemetery.
Mrs. Sumerlin, 85, of York, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2001, at LaRocca Nursing Home in Tuscaloosa. She was a retired food supervisor for Sumter Nursing Home and a member of York United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Charlotte Slone and her husband, Sam, of Anniston, Marion Kuhn and her husband, Ed, of Sanford, Fla. and Carol Myers and her husband, Jim, of Tuscaloosa; a brother, George Frank Williams and his wife, Ethel, of York; four grandchildren, Stephanie Slone, Susan Slone, David Slone and his wife, Tracy and Adrian Card; two great-grandchildren, Meghan Slone and Rachel Slone; two nieces and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, A.M. "Buddy" Culpepper and her second husband, Ray Sumerlin.
The family requests memorials be made to York United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 153, York, AL 36925.
Pallbearers will be B.B. Archer, Adrian Card, Ed Kuhn, Ray Miller, Rob Moore and David Slone.
Visitation will be Saturday from 2 p.m.-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
