Geraldine Cox of Collinsville announces the engagement of her daughter, Shemeeka LaDawn, to Shadrack Mutaburi Nabea, son of Martha N'Koyia Nabeat of Muutine Nyameene, Kenya, and the late M'Nabea. Miss Cox is also the daughter of the late J.W. Cox Sr.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, at 1 p.m. at Little Zion M.B. Church in Collinsville.
Miss Cox is the granddaughter of Olevia Hunt of Collinsville and the late Joe Will Hunt.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Kemper County High School, East Mississippi Community College and Meridian Community College. She currently attends Mississippi State University.
At EMCC, she was a member of Phi Beta Lambda, Student Government and Baptist Student Union.
Mr. Nabea is the grandson of the late Ndiara M'Laaru of Muutine Nyameene, Kenya.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Buurieru High School and Meridian Community College. He currently attends Hawaii Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii.
While attending MCC, he was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, Track Cross Country Team and DECA.
Mr. Nabea is employed by Noubarri of Hawaii.

REEVES, STRINGER
Tonia Renee Reeves and Josh Randall Stringer will be united in marriage on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2000, at 4 p.m. at Rolling Creek Baptist Church in Quitman.
Parents of the couple are Judy Williams and Jerry and Kim Reeves, all of Quitman, and John and Jo Stringer of Sylvarena.
Miss Reeves is the granddaughter of Robert and Jean Williams of Stonewall, Edward J. and Earline Reeves of Quitman and the late Maudie Davis Williams.
The bride-elect is a high honor graduate of Quitman High School and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education from Mississippi State University in Starkville. She will be pursuing a master's degree in elementary education this summer. Miss Reeves is certified in elementary education and is employed at Bay Springs Elementary School, where she teaches second grade.
Mr. Stringer is the grandson of A.G. Kelly and the late Annie Mae Barham of Pineville, and the late John and Edna Stringer of Sylvarena.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Raleigh High School and received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Mississippi State University in Starkville. Mr. Stringer is employed as a sales representative with Hol-Mac Corporation in Bay Springs.
A reception will be held at the church life center following the ceremony.

GARDNER, EDWARDS
Marilyn Gardner of Cleveland announces the engagement of her daughter, Sammie Gardner, to Romero Edwards, son of Herman and Barbara Burnett of Meridian and Virgil Scott of Flint, Mich. Miss Gardner is also the daughter of the late Carl Lee Brown, formerly of New Orleans.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000, at 2 p.m., at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Meridian.
Miss Gardner is a senior majoring in biological sciences at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. She will receive a bachelor of science degree this month. She plans to attend nursing school following graduation and upon completion, pursue her master's degree in hospital administration.
Mr. Edwards received an associate of arts degree from Meridian Community College and a bachelor of communications degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.
He is currently enlisted in the United States Army, where he will pursue his master's degree in satellite communications.
A reception will be held at the Jaycee's Building following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
CRAVEN, WOODALL
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wayne Craven of Collinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Karie Iann, to Charles Bradley Woodall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Eugene Woodall of Bailey.
The wedding will be held Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at 6 p.m. at NorthPark Church in Meridian.
Miss Craven is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cluis Carpenter Daniels of Collinsville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Craven Sr.
The bride-elect is a graduate of West Lauderdale High School and a magna cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University with a bachelor of arts degree in communication and news broadcasting.
While at MSU, she was a member of Phi Mu fraternity, Phi Kappa Phi, Roadrunner Student Recruiting Organization and was selected as a Reveille beauty, Miss Mississippi State University and Miss Meridian.
Mr. Woodall is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Laston L. Webb of Edinburg and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Woodall.
The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Lamar High School and received his bachelor of business administration and bachelor of science degree in business and industry from Mississippi State University.
While attending MSU, he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order, Roadrunner, Orientation Leader, Student Association Senator and Who's Who at MSU.
Mr. Woodall is vice president of Woodall Electric Inc.
A reception will be held at Northwood Country Club following the ceremony.
