Tiger Moms elect new leader
The RHS Tiger Moms met immediately following the Booster Club Meeting.
Terri Daniel was chosen to lead the Tiger Moms for the upcoming season.
The Tiger Moms have many scheduled activities that support the football players. Each Thursday night during the season, the Tiger Moms decorate the players' football lockers with spirit signs that include a treat. Much preparation goes into choosing just the right slogan for the spirit sign and choosing a snack that correlates with the slogan.
The best one I can remember is – for the Deshler game a couple of years ago, we did "it's time to open up a can" and we hot glued a mini can of Pringles to each sign.
The Tiger Moms occasionally give the players snacks after practice and during playoffs, the players actually get a surprise such as a bandanna, a Tiger arm band, a key chain or some type of tiger paraphernalia.
The Tiger Moms prepare a sack of treats such as Little Debbies, chips, etc. to give to the players after away games as they are boarding buses to return home. They always hand out goodies and drinks, win or lose. The Tiger Moms are responsible for organizing and preparing food for the Football Kickoff Supper, held each fall. Tiger Moms also prepare food for the RHS Press Box. The Tiger Moms work closely with coaches and administration to insure that their boys will have football memories to last them a lifetime.
