4-H shotgun competition hosted this Saturday

Members of the Franklin County 4-H Club are invited to compete in a shotgun competition this weekend at a local trap shooting range.

The competition is open to 4-H members ages 9-18 and those who compete are asked to bring their own shotgun shells. The competition will be held at the Cedar Hill Trap Range in Russellville on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wade Willingham and James King will be the certified instructors for the event and there will be a $5 fee for registration. Those interested in registering for the competition can do so by calling the Franklin County Extension Office at 256-332-8880 or Leslie Goins at 256-275-5701.

The Cedar Hill Trap Range is located at 4021 Hwy. 84 in Russellville.
