QUITMAN Services for Henry Raymond McLeod will be held today at 11 a.m. at Harmony Baptist Church with the Revs. Dennis Kennedy and Rodney Ward officiating. Burial will be in McGowan's Chapel Cemetery in Clarke County. Wright's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. McLeod, 91, of Quitman, died Monday, May 24, 2004, in his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and served in World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel McLeod of Quitman; a daughter, Marilyn Taormina and her husband, Paul, of Quitman; brothers, Harold McLeod of Knoxville, Tenn., Wiley McLeod of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Thomas McLeod of Birmingham, Ala., and Norman McLeod of Beaumont, Texas; sisters, Dot Bell of Memphis, Tenn., Margaret Rhodes of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Louise Pennington of Newton; sisters-in-law, Mildred McLeod of Quitman, Jackie McLeod of Beaumont, Elizabeth McLeod of Tuscaloosa, Pat McLeod of Knoxville, Tenn. and Dean McLeod of Birmingham; brothers-in-law, J.W. Bell of Memphis and Roy Rhodes of Tuscaloosa; grandchildren, Paul Taormina and Raymond Taormina, both of Quitman, Johnny Coglin and Tommy Coglin, both of Newton, and Kenny Coglin of Union; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ida McLeod; and a daughter, Shirley Coglin.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Rigdon, Roy Rigdon, Joey McLeod, Joe McLeod, Doug Griffin and Chris Bone.
Visitation will be today one hour prior to the service at the church.

PHILADELPHIA Services for Juanita Carter Fulton will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Dan Howard officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Cemetery in Philadelphia.
Mrs. Fulton, 83, of Philadelphia, died Monday, May 24, 2004, at Heartfelt Hospice in Meridian. She was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of Philadelphia. She was retired from Philadelphia Elementary School as a teacher and librarian. She also taught at Bethsaida, House, Forestdale, Deemer and Coldwater. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Philadelphia where she served as church librarian for many years and a member of Amica Sunday school class.
Survivors include her husband, Doc Fulton of Philadelphia; a son, Danny Fulton and his wife, Teresa, of Bruce; a daughter, Kay Lucas and her husband, Van, of Newton; grandchildren, Dr. Al Lucas of Madison, Leigh Lucas Gilliland and her husband, Chad, of Memphis, Tenn., Dr. Jon Lucas of Nashville, Matt Fulton and Dan Fulton, both of Bruce; great-grandchildren, Charlie Gilliland, Ben Gilliland and Lauren Gilliland, all of Memphis; a brother, Charles A. Carter of Madison; a sister, Sammie Jean May of Philadelphia; and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Harlin Galyean will be held today at 2 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church with the Revs. Jimmy Sanders, John Edwards and Greg Massey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. James F. Webb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Galyean, 89, of Meridian, died Monday, May 24, 2004, at Heartfelt Hospice. He retired after more than 41 years of service at Mississippi Power Company. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church where he was an inactive deacon and a member of the Mississippi Power Company Retiree Club.
Survivors include his wife, Lola Ruth Galyean; a daughter, Carolyn G. Brown and her husband, Emory, of Collierville, Tenn.; a son, Harold Galyean; a step-son, Bill Gavin and his wife, Glenda; a sister, Marjorie G. Young; a brother, Floyd Galyean and his wife, Rose, all of Meridian; a granddaughter, Amy Whiteside and her husband, Randy, of Myrtle; two grandsons, three great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carrie W. Galyean; a brother, William Ed Galyean; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Galyean.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Sanders, Billy Williams, Bill Fontaine, Shaun Galyean, R.J. Rutledge, Johnny Cook, Owen Jones and Ron Mercer.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of his Sunday school class and members of the Short Circuit Mississippi Power Company Retiree Club.
Homemaker
Services for Alice E. White will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Gunn officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
Mrs. White, 79, of Meridian, died Tuesday, May 25, 2004, in Union. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Jimmy White and his wife, Patricia, of the Damascus Community and Joe White and his wife, Barbara, of Suqualena; five grandchildren, Joe White Jr., Jason William White, Brian Lee White, Terri DeCamp and Brett Lane Brumley; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ruth Poythress and Margie Katherine Dunn, both of Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon White.
Pallbearers will be Joe White Jr., Jason William White, Brian Lee White, Brett Lane Brumley and Richard Booker.
Visitation will be today 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
