    OBITUARIES FOR SUNDAY, JUNE 10, 2001

    STELLA MAE JOBLIN
    Homemaker
    Services for Stella Mae Joblin will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jerry Bishop, Mike Russell and Edsol Wells officiating. Burial will be in Kewanee Cemetery.
    Mrs. Joblin, 91, of Lauderdale, died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at her home.
    Survivors include two daughters, Bernice Mosher and her husband, Glen and Shirley Adams and her husband, Bobby, both of Lauderdale; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard Harrison of York, Ala. and R.C. Harrison of Citronelle, Ala.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Joblin and a son-in-law, Coy McElhanney.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    GORDON D. HARRISON
    Retired farmer
    NEWTON Services for Gordon D. Harrison will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel of Newton County with the Rev. Ron Wallen officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Neshoba County.
    Mr. Harrison, 87, of Newton, died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at Riley's Hospital.
    Survivors include three sons, Rodney Harrison and his wife, Patricia, of Meridian, Charles Harrison and his wife, Dianna, of Hickory and Leonard Harrison of Newton; a daughter, Mazelle Rowell and her husband, Joe, of Newton; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Marshall and Oma Bane, both of Philadelphia and a brother, Basil Harrison of Collinsville.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Ludie Brewer Harrison.
    Visitation will be today from 4 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
    IDA NELL EDGAR MATTOX
    YORK, Ala. Services for Ida Nell Edgar Mattox will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Bumpers Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Larry Teasley officiating. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Meridian, Miss.
    Mrs. Mattox, 85, of Livingston, died Friday, June 8, 2001, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian. Mrs. Mattox was a People Greeter at the Livingston Wal-Mart. She was also a member of the York United Methodist Church and a professional pianist.
    She is survived by two sons, Evan Edgar Mattox of Meridian and Little Abe Mattox Sr. of Marksville, La.; a daughter, Martha Mattox Stuart and her husband, Thomas, of York; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Rhodes Mattox in 1966; a son, Orbert Clifton Mattox of Livingston in 1992; and a step-son, T.R. Mattox of San Diego in 2000.
    Pallbearers will be Jim Stockman, Buck Buchanon, Winton Wise, Henry Juneau, Bobby Stuart, Fred Walburn, Buck Ozment and Johnny Doggett.
    Honorary pallbearers will be her three grandsons, Matt Bomar, Tom Mattox and Little Abe Mattox Jr.; her nephew, Mark Brown; and Ad Boyd, Merrill Wise, Herman Pope, Don Stuart and Billy Stuart.
    In addition to flowers, memorials contributions may be made to the York United Methodist Church.
    Visitation will be Sunday from 6:30 p.m.-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
    MIKE MOROCK
    Former owner of Pontiac GMC dealership
    Services for Mike Morock will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Malcolm Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
    Mr. Morock, 80, of Meridian, died Friday, June 8, 2001, at Riley Memorial Hospital. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He served in the South Pacific and was present during the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was a Ford car dealer with his brother in Alexandria, La., and subsequently owned the Pontiac GMC dealership in Meridian. He was born Feb. 26, 1921, in New York, N.Y.
    Survivors include a son, David Morock and his wife, Rita, of Las Cruces, N.M.; a daughter, Lynda Herrington and her husband, Ronnie, of Columbus; a granddaughter, Amy and a brother, Walter Morock.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Melissa Kaythryn Coone Morock, a brother, Emil Morock and a grandson, Johnathan Herrington.
    Visitation will be today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    SHARRON TAYLOR COVINGTON
    Scott's Truck Stop employee, Lauderdale County schools substitute teacher
    Services for Sharron Taylor Covington will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Clarence Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
    Mrs. Covington, 44, of Meridian, died Friday, June 8, 2001, in Meridian.
    Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    LUCILE HORNSBY
    Retired employee of Holiday Inn
    Services for Lucile Hornsby will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at New Prospect Baptist Church with Eddie Cryer,Sr., officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery with Berry and Gardner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Hornsby, 75, of Meridian, died Friday, June 8, 2001, at her home.
    Survivors include three daughters, Ella Ball of Venice, Ill., Sandra Essix of Meridian and Mary Hearns of Birmingham, Ala.; two sons, Willie J. Hornsby, Jr., of Gadsen, Ala. and Michael D. Hornsby of Meridian; a step-daughter, Charlotte Malone, of Meridian; a sister, Mary White of Mobile, Ala.; two sisters-in-law, Mary Tolbert and Pearlye Harmon, both of Meridian; 20 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents.
    Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
    CLIFTON HARE JR.
    Services for Clifton Hare, Jr., will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Parker and Diane Adams officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
    Mr. Hare, 51, of Enterprise, died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at his home.
    He was survived by his wife, Eva Lee Hare of Enterprise; his mother, Lovetta Hare; two sisters, Juanita Fluker and Margerett Smith; two brothers, William Roberts and Charles Ray Hare all of Meridian; two step-sons, Derick Kelly and Anthony Kidd and a step-daughter, Annie Kelly all of Enterprise.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Hare, Sr.
    Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    MARY ANN KELLY
    Services for Mary Ann Kelly will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Parker and Diane Adams officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
    Ms. Kelly, 19, of Enterprise, died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, at her home.
    Survivors include her mother, Eva Lee Hare; a daughter, Keanna Hare; two brothers, Derick Kelly and Anthony Kidd and one sister, Annie Kelly, all of Enterprise.
    Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 p.m.-7 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Arrangements were incomplete at Berry and Gardner Funeral Home for Gracie Mae Delk, 79, of Lauderdale, who died Thursday, June 7, 2001, at her home.

    Arrangements were incomplete at Clark's Memorial Funeral Home for James E. Rush, 76, of Preston, who died Saturday, June 9, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
