    Mrs. Powell is the former Abbrevian Naylor.
    Logan Kirk, a son, was born to Allena and Matthew Barnett of Union on Jan. 25, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Barnett is the former Allena Buntyn.
    Lee and Tina Beech of Quitman announce the birth of a son, Hunter Trey, on Jan. 25, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Ronnie and Kay Beech of Meridian.
    Maternal grandparents are Chuck and Freda McClure of Quitman.
    Mrs. Beech is the former Tina McClure.
    Linda and Jim Gentry of Newton announce the birth of a son, Mitcham Harris, on Jan. 25, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James O. Gentry of Meridian.
    Maternal grandparents are Louise Harris of Lawrence and the late Tom Harris.
    Mrs. Gentry is the former Linda Harris.
    Stephen Anthony, a son, was born to Charles and La-Shunda Young of Meridian on Jan. 25, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Melvin and Sandra Gail Young of Meridian.
    Mrs. Young is the former La-Shunda V. Davis.
    A son, Nathan Colt, ,was born to James and Maria Sharp of Union on Jan. 25, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Jim and Helen Sharp of Philadelphia.
    Maternal grandparents are Ricky and Linda Rowell.
    Mrs. Sharp is the former Maria Genay Rowell.
    Alexandria Sherrel, a daughter, was born to Dana Walker and Rendfred Rush, both of Newton, on Jan. 25, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are A.C. and Martha Rush of Philadelphia.
    Maternal grandparents are Charles and Genetha Walker of Newton
    Kim and Steve Allen of Butler announce the birth of twin sons, William Garret and Caleb Ryan, on Jan. 25, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Allen is the former Kim Foster.
    Jody and Freda Covington of Stonewall announce the birth of a son, Nathan Bryan, on Jan. 26, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    Paternal grandparents are Tommy R. Covington of Stonewall and the late Jaunita Covington.
    Maternal grandparents are Veda Fay Lewis and Glenn Lewis, both of Quitman.
    Mrs. Covington is the former Freda Lewis.

    Mrs. Benoman is the former Tracy Spencer.
    Logan Cade, a daughter, was born to Mr. and Mrs. William Niel Little of Enterprise on Jan. 26, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Little is the former Wendy Michelle Gossett.
    Dyamond Le'Anna, a daughter, was born to Georgia and Benny Walker of Louisville on Jan. 27, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Walker is the former Georgia Hickmon.
    A daughter, Destiny Savon, was born to Takeshia Wallace of Cuba, Ala., on Jan. 27, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Angel Beyonce', a daughter, was born to Lora Fluker of York, Ala., on Jan. 28, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    A son, Wilmond Leshun, was born to Johnnika Irby of Meridian on Jan. 28, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Vanessa Mallory Whitehead, a daughter, was born to Virginia Haney and Eric Whitehead, both of Meridian, on Jan. 28, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    A daughter, Keewan Na'Tencie Enpatray, was born to Walkisa Burnside of Philadelphia on Jan. 28, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Marvelette Ken'Yetta Vorshae Davis, a daughter, was born to Marilyn Wallace and Dewarren Davis, both of Quitman, on Jan. 29, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    A daughter, Saylor Rose, was born to Tiffany and Ty Hinson of Meridian on Jan. 30, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Hinson is the former Tiffany House.
    Jyilyn Shenairra Hampton, a daughter, was born to Priscilla Pack and Chantay Hampton on Jan. 30, 2001, at Riley Hospital.
    Aaron Christopher, a son, was born to Cindy and Chris Brannan of Meridian on Jan. 31, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Brannan is the former Cindy Lyles.
    Richard Ledarius Jr., a son, was born to Janice and Richard Hull Sr. of Cuba, Ala., on Jan. 31, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Hull is the former Janice Williams.
    A daughter, Johnketta Shanta Williams, was born to Melanie Adams of Lisman, Ala., on Jan. 31, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Deanna and Doug Jones of Philadelphia announce the birth of a daughter, Savannah Gail, on Jan. 31, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Jones is the former Deanna Prince.

    India Ja'Nae, a daughter, was born to Tamara and Jesse Howard of Silas, Ala., on Feb. 1, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Howard is the former Tamara Hill.
    A daughter, Alexis Marie, was born to Sacheen and Billy Morgan of Bailey on Feb. 1, 2001, at Rush Foundation Hospital.
    Mrs. Morgan is the former Sacheen Stewart.
