Elvis' death hard to forget

Larry Pearson will always remember where he was the day Elvis Presley died from a heart attack at the age of 42.
Pearson was dressed in full Elvis garb Thursday. He wore a heavily decorated white jumpsuit, a short cape with red lining and shades like ones Elvis once wore.
Pearson was at a birthday party in Caf Latte in downtown Meridian, honoring a friend who was about to leave for Memphis, Tenn., to take part in the Elvis Week activities there.
While outside, passersby greeted Pearson just like he was "The King."
