    OBITUARIES FOR SUNDAY, JAN. 21, 2001

    HARRIS HILL
    Retired from Sears
    Graveside services for Harris Hill will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery with Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Hill, 85, of Lauderdale, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at his residence.
    He was a member and former trustee of Lauderdale United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Carey Hill Sunday School class.
    Survived include two sisters, Edna Hill, of Lauderdale and Lona Cook, of Ashland, Ala.; a sister-in-law, Vivian Hill, of Lauderdale; and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be held today from 4-6 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home.
    Pallbearers will be members of the Sunday school class.
    MARY LOU DAVIDSON
    SEBASTOPOL Services for Mary Lou Davidson will be held today at 3 p.m. at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Albert Reid and Mark Copeland officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Pentecostal Church Cemetery with Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Davidson, 72, of Union, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, in Union.
    Survivors include two sons, Billy Joe Davidson, of Morton, and Kenneth Davidson, of Houkla; a daughter, Cindy Bowie, of Meridian; two sisters, Margaret Siler, of Purlear, N.C., and Norma Bailey, of Conehatta; four brothers, W.L. Hillman, of Madden; R.C. Hillman, of Conehatta, Carlton Hillman, of Bolivar, Mo., and Hulon Hillman, of Conehatta; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
    Mrs. Davidson was preceded in death by her husband, Luke Davidson, and a son, Jerry Davidson.
    ARDITH B. GUNN
    Seamstress
    Services for Ardith B. Gunn will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Allan Singletary officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Gunn, 89, of Meridian, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001, in Meridian.
    Mrs. Gunn was a member of Jones Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she held a perfect attendance in Sunday School for 28 years. She was also a member of the O.E.S. Chapter #11 and the Friendship Club.
    Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Sam Pogue, of Meridian; two sisters, Gordie Rayner, of Meridian, and Ethel Clark, of Brandon; a brother-in-law, Hailey Snowden, of Meridian; and several nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph R. Gunn.
    Visitation will be held today from 4-6 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home.
    Pallbearers will be Ed Smith, Joe Moore, Alan Flint, Jerry Snell, John McClure and Ray Flint.
    HUBERT DALLAS
    Farmer
    PHILADELPHIA Services for Hubert Dallas will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church in Union. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with McClain-Hays Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
    Mr. Dallas, 78, of Union, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
    He was a a farmer and a veteran of World War II, having served in the Air Force.
    Survivors include his wife, Nadine Dallas of Union; A daughter, Peggy Bailey of Wagarville, Ala.; a stepdaughter, Denise Manning of Philadelphia; two stepsons, Danny Davis of Jackson and Ranny Davis of Fairhope, Ala.; a sister, Winona Grice of Meridian; a brother, Dewayne Dallas of Dallas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be today from 5-9 p.m. at the Home.
    JOHN V. "BUNNY" SHEPARD
    Retired business owner
    Services for John V. "Bunny" Shepard will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Barham Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Dr. Thad Moore and Thomas Broadhead officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
    Mr. Shepard. 77, of Meridian, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, in Meridian.
    He was the retired owner of Shepard's Repair Works for 45 years. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church.
    Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Tew Shepard of Meridian; a son, Gene Shepard and his wife, Mery, of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; a daughter, Rosemary Blackwell and her husband, Barry, of Meridian; two grandchildren, Keller Blackwell and Erique Shepard; and a sister, Annell McAlister of Meridian.
    Visitation will be today from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
    The family requests memorials be made to the Poplar Springs Drive Baptist Church building fund.
    ABBIE CROSS PARTRIDGE
    Homemaker
    Services for Abbie Cross Partridge will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Barham Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Roger Ivey officiating. Burial will be in Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
    Mrs. Partridge, 97, of Meridian, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2001 in Meridian.
    Survivors include two sons, Grover Partridge Sr. and his wife, Margaret, of Enterprise, and A.E. "Ed" Partridge Sr. and his wife, Ella, of Meridian; two daughters, Lorene Downey of Houston, Texas, and Mable Woodall and her husband, Milton Lavell, of Enterprise; 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
    Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
