County holds July meeting

At its July 20 meeting, the Franklin County Commission approved the following items:
1. Catastrophic sick leave and Family Medical Leave Act for Phillip Wilson in the Solid Waste Department.
2. Termination of Tony Welborn in the Solid Waste Department.
3. Request to hire two temporary employees in the Solid Waste Department.
4. Request to hire a corrections officer in the sheriff’s office.
5. Family Medical Leave Act for Dale Frederick in the sheriff’s office.
6. ATRIP invoices in the Highway Department.
7. Resolution and Agreement to create an access road for Mar Jac Poultry.
8. Vacating a portion of Nursery Road, following a public hearing, at which no one spoke.
9. Courthouse Maintenance Budget Amendment.
10. Uses of premises agreement.
