Edith King Pinkard, 95, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at her residence.

Mrs. Pinkard was a native of Colbert County, but had lived in Franklin County for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church.

A graveside service was held at Hyde Cemetery, Littleville, on Sunday, July 19, 2015.

Survivors include children, Meredith Jackson, Alex Freeman and Bettie Lou Cleveland; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, Alex and Charity Quillen; husband, Eddie Pinkard; son, Roy Wayne Mitchell; sister, Eva Aycock; and brother, Hiram Quillen.
