On May 5, Phil Campbell High School held its annual Awards Day—a day when teachers present students with trophies and certificates to mark their outstanding academic performance and exceptional behavior for the school year. It’s also a day when the high school’s seniors are recognized and officially awarded scholarship money they’ve won from various programs, services, and agencies.
This year, PCHS seniors did not disappoint. Collectively, the class of 2015 racked up an impressive $132,908 in scholarships that will be used at colleges and universities around the state. From UNA to Montevallo, PCHS students will soon make their mark on college campuses.
