Gene Ray Bolton, 74, Russellville, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014, at Burns Nursing Home.

He was born in Franklin County on Monday, September 11, 1939, to Onice and Elsie (Hester) Bolton. He was a member of Frankford Road Missionary Baptist Church.

The visitation was on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral followed with Bro. Nick Barnett officiating. Burial was at Franklin Memory Gardens.

He leaves to cherish his memory his son, Randy Bolton and wife, Terri; grandchildren, Dakota Bolton, Andrew Bolton, Christopher Smith, and Megan Smith; brother, Terry Bolton; sisters, Joyce Hall, Linda Greenhill, and Bonnie Bragwell; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Bolton; and parents, Onice and Elsie Bolton.
