Madge Willis Casteel, 84, of Tuscaloosa, formerly Old Brick Community, Leighton, Ala., passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Forest Manor Nursing Home.
The graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Russellville. Officiating will be Rev. Carl Malm. Interment will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell D. Casteel; her parents, Floyd & Modenia Willis; her brothers, Pelham Willis, Wayne Willis, Will Willis; and her sister, Melba Willis Pickett.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Prince Owens and husband, O.B., of Danville; her son, Robert Franklin Prince and wife, Dena, of Tuscaloosa; her granddaughters, Jonna Owens Lee, of Danville, Courtney Prince Walker and husband, Clayton, of Orlando, Fla., Mary Elizabeth Garvey and husband, Bradford, of Birmingham, Ala., Willis Drury Prince, and Grace Robertson Prince, of Tuscaloosa; her great-granddaughters, Macy Beth Lee, of Danville, Kendall Morgan Walker, of Orlando, Fla.; her sisters, Ann Willis Barnette and husband, Howard, of Russellville, and Mary Willis Mitchell, of Birmingham, Ala.
Madge Casteel was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and wife who loved the Lord. She painted, served, gardened, and cooked. Her dry sense of humor and warm smiles will be missed by all.
