Oct. 18-19 The 11th Annual Hospitality Fall Festival. More than 100 arts and craft booths with samplings of arts and crafts from all over the South. Oct. 19-20 The Jefferson Davis Home and Presidential Library will commemorate the 1862 Battle of Pass Christian along the Mississippi Gulf Coast with the staging of the 16th Annual Beauvoir Fall Muster from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The national historic landmark is on U.S. 90 in Biloxi. Nov. 2-3 18th Annual Homemakers Arts &Crafts Show &Sale at the Frank Cochran Center in Highland Park. Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday noon-5 p.m. Admission is 50 cents. Homemade soup and chili and other goodies will be on sale.
Nov. 29-Jan. 5 The largest oak grove in the world, 1,500 acres at New Orleans City Park's Botanical Garden, is sprinkled with tens of thousands of Christmas lights and ornaments during Celebration in the Oaks. Puppet shows will run nightly at the Storyland Children's pavilion and Santa will visit with children through Dec. 23.
