LaVelle Wigginton Shook

LaVelle Wigginton Shook, age 86, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield. She was born in Belmont, Miss. to Nathan Wigginton and Lillian Fuller Wigginton. She had worked as a factory worker as an inspector and was a member of Chapel Hill Church of God of Prophecy.

Services were Thursday, Nov. 19, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, Miss. with Bro. Charlie Summerford officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery, Golden, Miss.

Survivors are one daughter, Pat Bolding and husband, Terry Red Bay; two grandchildren: Brad Bolding and wife, Amy and Bridgett Middleton and husband, Randy; two great-grandchildren: Brady Bolding and Bree Bolding; one brother, Travis Wigginton and wife, Jean and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Shook, two brothers: Wilburn Wigginton and Lester Wigginton, one infant sister and sister, Bessie Martin.

Visitation was Thursday, Nov. 19, at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Miss.
