Warriors host nationally ranked Jones

When opportunity knocks, it's not good to let it pass as it may not knock again.
In a frustrating year thus far, the East Central Community College Warriors have a chance to make a little noise Thursday night when they host the Jones Bobcats. Jones, 5-0, is ranked No. 3 in the nation.
ECCC fell to 1-4 with last week's 34-31 loss at Copiah-Lincoln. It was a game in which the Warriors rallied from a 14-0 deficit to take a 31-21 lead with only 4:16 remaining. The Wolves scored, then recovered a kickoff at the ECCC 20 and scored again to pull off the amazing comeback.
Jones has wins over East Mississippi (17-10), Mississippi Delta (19-14), Coahoma (33-0), Copiah-Lincoln (45-3), and Southwest Mississippi (26-13).
ECCC has to win out to have any shot at postseason play.
