A Meridian man is being held on $10,000 bond after being charged Tuesday with aggravated assault.
Lt. Wade Johnson said Marcus Ivy, 21, of 315 42nd Ave. was taken into custody this weekend and held on a disorderly conduct charge after an altercation Friday night.
Johnson said Ivy allegedly stabbed a 19-year-old man during an argument at a home in the College Park area. The victim was taken to Jeff Anderson Regional Medial Center, where he was treated and released.
Johnson said he spoke with the victim on Tuesday and "he appears to be in pretty good shape."
Ivy was in custody today at the Lauderdale County Detention Facility.
