Harper, Rose

Tammie Lynn Rose and Randy D. Harper, both of Meridian, were married Saturday, June 1, 2002, at the Evangel Temple with the Rev. Michael Boles officiating.
Parents of the couple are Patricia I. Rose of Russell and the late Paul E. Rose, and Patricia Harper of Meridian and the late Rex M. Harper.
Grandparents of the bride are Viva Whittington of Meridian, Clinton Whitehead of Dalewood and the late William Edward and Etta Rose of Blackwater.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are the late Preston and Ruby Harper, and the late John R. and Lucille Glover, all of Meridian.
Nuptial music was provided by Kim and Kathy Culpepper.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother and escorted by her brother, Randall Rose.
She wore a sleeveless formal gown of white satin and tulle. The dress featured a sheer neckline and the bodice was adorned by seed pearls and lace. The caged headpiece and veil were embellished with sequins and pearls.
Norma Saget of Meridian served as maid of honor. Junior bridesmaid was Maranda Rose, niece of the bride.
Roger Harper of Meridian served as best man. Junior groomsmen was Jonathan Harper, son of the bridegroom. William Rose, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony.
Assisting at the reception were Cindy Hatcher, Sherry Gray, Terry and Rodney Forbis.
After a honeymoon in the Southern Caribbean, the couple resides in Meridian.
