“I hope the kids are looking forward to it,” said Skye Hamilton, one of the organizers. “Many of the guys from April 20 will be back, along with a couple of additional friends. Typically, the events are wonderful, the kids seem to have a great time, the parents are always patient with us and the players spend extra time talking with them and really mentoring each kid, and I love that.”
Hamilton said at each event, the committee always makes sure to remind them about why they are there, spending time talking ot them about Chucky Mullins and his legacy. “It warms my heart when the kids return and are able to share with us some of the things they were taught in years prior.”
