Don’t miss your opportunity to vote in Reader’s Choice Poll

The Franklin County Times’ Best of the Best Reader’s Choice Poll has been in full swing, and there are only a few days left to name your choices for the superior businesses and such in the Franklin County area.

Through May 6, you still have the opportunity to vote for all your local favorites – from the best clothing retailer or the best customer service to the best of many categories of food, the best attorney, the best service provider and more.

This contest is in its fourth year, and it’s now a Franklin County staple. We love being able to shine the spotlight on all the top people and places in our area. Those who win get to shout their recognition from the rooftop, and we know they appreciate the kudos from the customers and patrons they serve – that’s you!

And in case you missed it, don’t forget: Those voted “Best of the Best” aren’t the only winners. You could win, too. Ballot entries that have a minimum of 25 categories filled out will be entered into a drawing for a prize – $150 cash. Entries that are incomplete or do not have complete contact information will not be eligible.

The ballot for this year’s Best of the Best contest is located on pages A4-A5 of the paper as well as on our website. The rules for entry are pretty simple:

  • One entry per person will be counted.
  • Entries must be received by 5 p.m. May 6, completed either online or on the original newsprint form. No photocopied entries are allowed.
  • Winners will be determined by reader votes and will be announced in a special section printed in the Franklin County Times in June.

Ballots can be mailed to Franklin County Times Best of Contest, P.O. Box 1088, Russellville, AL 35653, or hand-delivered to our office, in the Byars Building in downtown Russellville, 501 N. Jackson Ave., Suite 7.

Now is the time to let your opinion be known.
