PCHS volleyball finishes successful season with loss to Westbrook Christian

Although Phil Campbell High School’s volleyball team lost to Westbrook Christian in the second round of the Super Regionals Oct. 25, earlier in the day, they defeated Brindlee Mountain 3-1 (25-19; 22-25; 25-17; 25-20) to win the first round of Super Regional play at the Von Braun Civic Center in Huntsville.

The finish comes after a busy season that saw the program, now in its third year, produce area champions with 21 wins, a Super Regional win, junior varsity county champs and junior high county champs.
