“Carol is a lifelong Franklin Countian who discovered a passion for sewing when she was still in elementary school and entered a 4-H sewing contest,” said Simply Southern TV co-host Mary Wilson.
“She especially loves smocking, which is a popular children’s clothing style in the South. She smocked for her daughters and granddaughters, and now she gets to smock for her great-granddaughters — a set of triplets!”
Simply Southern TV is a 30-minute show that celebrates Alabama’s farmers, gardeners, makers, rural communities and one-of-a-kind destinations. Episodes are also available on the show’s website at www.SimplySouthernTV.net.
