Roxy’s Salute to Broadway returns

The Roxy’s Salute to Broadway takes the stage this year May 4-5 at 7 p.m., May 6 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and May 7 at 2 p.m. Written and directed by Hillary Malone Hall, the show pays tribute to many Broadway hits from across the decades. This year’s cast includes 87 community members, representing both returning and new performers to the show. Portions of music from ten Broadway shows, mostly medleys, will set the scene for the 2023 production, which includes a storyline this year.

“We’re continuing to add and adapt, and we expect this year’s show to be bigger and better than ever,” explained Hall. “We have new, over-the-top costumes, a new set and the addition of a storyline. The production features speaking, singing and dancing parts, as well as a lot of comedy. It’s going to be a great show.”

Hall said she, along with the cast and crew are eager for audiences to see everything they’ve been working on for this year’s production. “We’re excited to see everything come together, and we love working to make this happen,” she added. “It’s going to be really good, and I am so excited about it.”
