Lockdown drills continue for Russellville City Schools

To those noticing increased police presence on the campus of Russellville City Schools, the school system is offering some reassurance and information.

In an effort to reinforce school safety procedures, RCS is continuing to practice lockdown drills this week, following students’ return from the Labor Day holiday.

RCS is partnering with local law enforcement and EMA so they can reinforce their school safety training and procedures as well. 

Blackboard communications will be used to inform parents when a drill begins and ends so there is no confusion about what is taking place at the schools when law enforcement and EMA are present on campus this week.
