Letter to the Editor: ‘Save Franklin County for generations to come’

Dear Editor,

My family has lived in Franklin County for seven generations.

William C. Hester was the patriarch of our family in Belgreen, where the proposed dump expansion is being considered by the Franklin County Commission.

The Hester clan has enjoyed this rich heritage, and now this land may be destroyed forever. What a travesty to our family and to God!

This reminds me of the warning in Jeremiah:

Jeremiah 2:7 – “And I brought you into a plentiful land to enjoy its fruits and its good things. But when you came in, you defiled my land and made my heritage an abomination.”

Every citizen in the county should protest this expansion and Save Franklin County Alabama for generations to come!

Sincerely,

Paula Hovater
