Library accepts book donations for Kentucky

“Kentucky has been hit hard by recent flooding, and many libraries have lost everything,” explained Russellville Public Library Director Joshlyn Bowen. “It is our desire to help those in need during this difficult time.”

RPL will be accepting book donations to be sent to Kentucky until 4 p.m. Aug. 17.

Any books for donation can be boxed up and dropped off at the Russellville Public Library during its normal hours of operation.

The library is located at 110 Lawrence Street E., and it is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For more information, visit the Russellville Public Library Facebook page, email ruslib110@yahoo.com or call 256-332-1535.
