Red Bay wins Franklin County Track Meet

The Red Bay boys and Red Bay girls both won the Franklin County Track Meet this past Wednesday. Vina’s boys and girls finished in second place.

The county track meet is held in April every year at Red Bay High School.

Here are the winners of each individual event:

  • Boys 3200-Meter Run: Angel Garcia, Tharptown
  • Boys 1600-Meter Run: Alex Quintero, Tharptown
  • Boys 800-Meter Run: Jessie Mitchell, Tharptown
  • Boys 400-Meter Run: Christian Purser, Vina
  • Boys 200-Meter Run: Brady Hardin, Red Bay
  • Boys 100-Meter Run: Andrew Ray, Red Bay
  • Boys 300-Meter Hurdle: Blake Nix, Red Bay
  • Boys 100-Meter Hurdle: Isaac Hill, Phil Campbell
  • Boys 4×800 Relay: Red Bay
  • Boys 4×400 Relay: Vina
  • Boys 4×100 Relay: Red Bay
  • Boys High Jump: Branden Henry, Vina
  • Boys Long Jump: Cody Carnes, Red Bay
  • Boys Triple Jump: Cody Carnes, Red Bay
