Tigers golf targets return to state

The Red Bay Tigers golf team hopes to build on this past year’s success. With all four golfers returning to the links, the Tigers should be looking for another run to state.

The Tigers finished second in sub-state competition and qualified for the state tournament in 2021.

Red Bay returns Buck McRight, Brady Bolton, Cody Carnes and Lawson Glover. All four players are sophomores with a lot of golf ahead of them. Bolton finished in the top 10 at the state tournament.

“It was a great experience for our guys, and hopefully we will be able to build on last year’s success,” said Red Bay Coach John Torisky.
