PC baseball routs Deshler

Cam Habada had another stellar outing in a Phil Campbell rout of the Deshler Tigers 9-2.

The junior had two hits, including a triple and an RBI, and scored two runs at the plate. He pitched five innings, allowing one hit and no earned runs and striking out 11.

Phil Campbell wasted no time taking a 4-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Habada started things off with a run-scoring single knocking in Sage Raper. Kyle Pace followed with a double scoring Mason Swinney and Habada. Pace scored on a passed ball.

The Deshler boys scored their lone two runs in the bottom of the second inning.

Phil Campbell methodically put the game away, scoring five unanswered runs.

Jacob Barnwell, Cole Pace and Bryant Anthony all crossed the plate in the fourth inning. Habada scored in the fifth inning, and Raper followed in the sixth inning.

The Bobcats improved their record to 7-3.
